Frequently Asked Questions

We aim to respond to every message within 2 business days. During peak workshop seasons or holidays, replies may take a little longer. For urgent payment or registration issues, include your order number or member ID so we can route your request to the right team faster.
For any payment, invoice, or refund question, email info@iptpa.com with the email address used at checkout and the workshop or product name. If a charge looks unfamiliar on your statement, please reach out before disputing it with your bank — we can usually resolve it the same day.
IPTPA requires at least 10 interested participants to schedule a workshop in a new location. Contact info@iptpa.com with your location and estimated headcount.
We work with clubs, resorts, parks & rec departments, and national federations around the world. Send a partnership inquiry to info@iptpa.com including your organization, location, number of courts, and the type of collaboration you have in mind (host workshops, instructor development, ratings clinics, etc.). A member of our partnerships team will follow up.
Full refunds (less a $10 transaction fee) are available if you cancel up to two weeks before the On Court Evaluation. Cancellations within two weeks receive a credit toward a future session. No refunds are issued once you progress past the Introduction module in the Online Course.
While playing experience helps, the focus of IPTPA certification is on teaching ability, communication, and knowledge of pickleball-specific strokes, strategies, and shot selection. Passion for the sport and coaching is the most important requirement.
Certified IPTPA professionals gain access to liability insurance, promotional opportunities, a listing in the IPTPA instructor directory, ongoing continuing education resources to keep your skills sharp, and the credibility of belonging to a global network of pickleball professionals recognized by clubs and federations worldwide.
Yes! IPTPA has recently introduced the Certified Junior Pickleball Instructor (CJPI) program to help younger players grow in the sport. Contact us for details about this exciting new initiative.
Most account details — email, phone, profile photo, instructor directory listing — can be updated yourself from the Member Portal. If you've lost access to your old email and can't sign in, email info@iptpa.com from the address you'd like on file and we'll verify your identity before making the change.
We take the conduct of our certified professionals seriously. Please email info@iptpa.com with the instructor's name, location, and a description of your concern. All reports are reviewed confidentially by IPTPA leadership and, when warranted, escalated to our certification review committee.
Our team primarily supports members in English, but we have certified professionals in over 30 countries and can often connect you with a regional contact who speaks your language. You can also use the language switcher in the navigation bar to translate the site itself.
