About RCW Athletic Club:
RCW Athletic Club is a premier racquet sports facility in Central Pennsylvania, featuring 6 indoor hard tennis courts, 8 outdoor Har-Tru tennis courts, and 2 outdoor Padel courts. Since our new ownership took over in 2020, we’ve experienced rapid growth and expanded offerings across tennis, padel, and pickleball. What began as a few days of pickleball play in off-peak hours has exploded into a thriving 6-day-a-week program with over 300 active participants. Plans are in motion to add 10 permanent, designated pickleball courts to support this continued growth.

About the Role:
RCW is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pickleball Coach to lead the instructional side of our pickleball programming. This person will be the primary teaching pro for RCW Pickleball—running group clinics, private lessons, small group sessions, and collaborating with the team to continue building a dynamic, inclusive, and high-quality pickleball experience for players of all levels.

We’re looking for someone who loves teaching, brings energy to the court, and can foster a learning environment that helps players grow and feel connected. This is an incredible opportunity to join a high-energy, forward-thinking club in a pivotal coaching role.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Instruction: Teach beginner through advanced clinics, private lessons, and small group sessions.
Player Development: Help players improve through customized coaching plans, consistent feedback, and intentional programming.
Build Community: Be a positive, visible, and consistent presence at RCW—someone players trust for both instruction and inspiration.
Collaborate with Team: Work alongside our Pickleball Director, Event Coordinator, and Front Desk staff to ensure seamless program delivery.
Support Special Events: Assist with RCW tournaments, leagues, and community-based pickleball events.
Promote Excellence: Maintain the high standards of instruction, customer service, and professionalism that define RCW.

Ideal Candidate:

Deep knowledge of and passion for pickleball.
Previous coaching experience strongly preferred—certifications a plus.
Excellent communication and people skills; ability to connect with players of all ages and skill levels.
High level of professionalism, reliability, and enthusiasm.
Willingness to adapt and contribute to a growing program.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation:
TBD, based on experience and lesson revenue. The position has high income potential for motivated coaches, especially with RCW’s growing demand for instruction.
