We are seeking a dedicated Pickleball Professional to elevate and enhance our pickleball program. As a part of our dynamic team, you’ll coordinate leagues, tournaments, and social events, ensuring our members’ expectations are consistently exceeded.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and enhance the pickleball program.
• Organize and manage leagues, tournaments, and social events.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Racquet Sports to ensure the department’s programs and presentation meet the high standards of our members.
Qualifications:
• High level playing experience.
• High energy, innovative, and driven by achievement.
• Commitment to the Racquet Sports Department and the ability to fit into the club culture.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time teaching experience.
• USPTA, USPTR, PPR, or equivalent Pickleball Certification.
• Previous success within a pickleball facility program.

Head Pickleball Professional
• Coaching and Instruction:
• Provide private and group pickleball lessons to players of all ages and skill levels.
• Assist Sports Director in implementing training programs for junior and adult players.
• Ensure that all coaching adheres to best practices and the latest teaching methodologies.
• Work with Sports Director to design, promote, and oversee all pickleball programs, including clinics, camps, leagues, and social events.
• Assist Sports Director with tournaments and competitions.
• Develop strategies to attract and retain members through engaging and innovative pickleball programs.
• Assist with training and managing assistant pickleball professionals and support staff.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Provide performance evaluations and feedback to coaching staff.
• Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of pickleball courts and equipment.
• Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and welcoming for all users.

• Coordinate with facility management for any repairs or improvements needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
• Address any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.

• Foster a positive and inclusive tennis community.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, program participation, and membership statistics.
• Assist in marketing and promotional activities for the pickleball programs.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in pickleball coaching and sports management.
• Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and certification courses.
• Qualifications:
• Certified by a recognized pickleball coaching organization PPR, IPTPA
• Must have liability insurance
• Extensive experience in pickleball coaching, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
