Our goal is to give them the best possible introduction, instruction, and training so they may become the best athlete and Pickleball player they can be. Whether they become the next number 1 in the world or just a happy, active, lifelong player, we want to be part of that journey. The IPTPA is excited to give you the tools necessary to reach that goal one child at a time.
Steps to sign up for the IPTPA Junior Specialty Certification:
1. Only IPTPA Teaching Professionals that hold a current Level I teaching certification are eligible to take the 2- hour Junior Pickleball Teaching Certification Workshop.
2. Go to your private portal at members.iptpa.com and add an application for the IPTPA Junior Teaching Certification Program
3. Fill out the application (note consent to a background check is part of the application)**
4. Pay the registration fee
5. Attend the IPTPA Junior Pickleball Teaching Certification Workshop, Upon completion and satisfactory background check you will be invited to take the online written exam. This test will ensure that you have the knowledge and tools necessary to work with junior players.
*After passing the online test, you will receive an additional Specialty Certificate as a Certified Junior Pickleball Teaching Instructor and you will be listed on the IPTPA website with your new designation.
**Instructors outside of the United States are responsible for obtaining and sending IPTPA a copy of a Criminal Background Check from within their Country, State or Province.
